Waypoint Energy provides end-to-end energy, water, and sustainability program management for multifamily complexes owned by Virtú Investments enrolled in their GreenLiving investment fund. Virtu and its investors engaged Waypoint with the intent of developing a truly integrated program meant to transform not only the properties touched by this program but also the multi-family market at large by bringing strategies developed to local and state efficiency organizations.

 

For newly acquired properties, Waypoint conducts an initial opportunity assessment to identify areas for improvement in seven critical areas. As part of the post-assessment program, Waypoint works directly with on-site property managers to provide support and guidance on implementing the recommended improvements. In addition to the initial assessment and program support, Waypoint benchmarks and tracks energy and water usage throughout the year in order to continually drive savings year after year.
