It’s the time of year again – the Association of Energy Services Professionals (AESP) is hosting its 27th annual national conference February 13th – 16th in Orlando, FL. The conference features a unique gathering of energy industry thought leaders, delivers thought-provoking educational sessions and hosts unique networking events. This is the premier energy industry conference that draws the top program managers, policy makers, implementers, marketers, evaluators, consultants and vendors in energy efficiency. The conference theme this year, “Destination Innovation,” captures the forward-looking direction that utilities and program implementers are moving towards in this energy economy.
Waypoint Energy staff Emily Pearce and Marta Schantz will be attending the AESP conference and are excited to share best practices from our professional services team as well as learn new and innovative information from conference attendees and sessions. Highly regarded experts in their respective fields will lead over 30 sessions that will cover the range of current topics in marketing, tools and technology, implementation, program design, research, evaluation and more.
Marta will be presenting on Waypoint’s work with utilities overcoming the split-incentive to reach commercial real estate tenant office spaces, particularly our leadership in developing and implementing the Sustainable Office Design (SOD) Program with Eversource Energy and National Grid utilities. The 2A: Implementation session titled “Cupid’s arrow – striking Energy Efficiency love into Property Owners and Tenants” is on February 14th at 1:45pm and will also include speakers from CenterPoint Energy, Applied Energy Group, and Focus on Energy.
Emily Pearce is no stranger to this conference and has attended a number of times over the years. Here’s her take on the conference:
AESP is where the best minds in energy efficiency get together to bring ideas, best practices, innovation and movement in the market together in one place. The learning and networking opportunities are endless.
