Efficiency Exchange really was an Efficiency Exchange

Efficiency Exchange stayed true to its name this year. Put on by the Bonneville Power Administration (BPA) and the Northwest Energy Efficiency Association (NEEA), Efficiency Exchange is an annual 2-day conference to learn, network, and exchange energy efficiency knowledge with industry professionals across the Northwest. This year, Waypoint Energy’s VP of Utility Solutions, Emily Pearce, attended the conference from May 15-16 in Tacoma, Washington and to say she was pleased with the event is an understatement.

Tuesday’s keynote speaker, Val Jensen, Senior VP of Customer Operations at Commonwealth Edison knocked it out of the park with his speech on “Energy Efficiency in the Utility of the Future”. Other great sessions Emily enjoyed were “Basics of Energy Efficiency in the Pacific Northwest” and “The Next Wave of Efficiency in Commercial HVAC”.

We enjoy being surrounded by such influential players in the energy efficiency world. We also enjoy having the opportunity to work together on energy efficiency projects such as NEEA’s condensing rooftop unit (C-RTU) market transformation program that we support. If you want to hear more about our energy efficiency efforts take a look at our Resources page or contact info@waypoint-energy.com.
