Waypoint Energy was thrilled to attend and present at the 2016 ACEEE Summer Study on Energy Efficiency in Buildings last month in Pacific Grove, CA. This conference was a great success for all attendees. This was the 19th biennial ACEEE conference on Energy Efficiency in Buildings, and it did not disappoint; Conference attendees were intelligent, vibrant, and excited about the future of energy efficiency. Formal panel sessions were full of valuable educational information, best practices, and candid conversation with packed audiences. Poster sessions provided an opportunity for one-on-one discussions across a range of energy efficiency topics in buildings. And informal sessions offered a place for like-minded attendees to discuss technical topics, market-facing issues, and everything in between.
Waypoint showed up big at this conference (and not just in our matching gray jackets)! Not only did most of the utility and professional services staff attend, but Emily Pearce, a Director at Waypoint and Marta Schantz, a Manager at Waypoint, each spoke on panels and co-authored papers with esteemed colleagues from Northwest Energy Efficiency Alliance (NEEA), Pacific Gas and Electric (PG&E), National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL), and U.S. Department of Energy (DOE). We at Waypoint feel honored to be able to partner with our clients to present on the latest and greatest topics in energy efficiency.
